Stacking Prices Start at $50.00 Per Cord but Increase Depending Upon the Distance that the Wood Must be Carried/Hauled and Specific Directions of the Firewood Owner

Custom cut lengths are available - pricing varies; call for a quote.

Wayne's standard piece length for both round and split wood is sixteen inches. 

Prices include delivery and unloading anywhere in the Fairbanks North Star Borough. 

Prices do not include stacking.

Wayne Hunter the Wood Cutter accepts cash, personal checks, and credit cards (Visa®, MasterCard®, and Discover®) for payment.

Payment for firewood is not accepted until the wood has been delivered.

Delivery Information

Wayne Hunter the Wood Cutter is located in Salcha, Alaska and the wood he currently cuts is from Salcha, too.  This is where all of his orders begin and will be coming from.

Delivery times vary depending on when one's order is placed and how many people are already on his list to receive firewood.  Sometimes the list is short and wood can be delivered within a few days, but oftentimes Wayne's list is about a month long and at times it's even longer.  However, because he sells green firewood the wait works out fine for his customers as they are getting it to store for a future winter rather than to burn immediately.  Wayne tells each customer how long the list is and gives them a delivery date estimate when they place their orders.

Wayne delivers firewood at various times: morning, afternoon, evening, and even night.  He calls his customers a "day or two out" (as he says) from when he expects to deliver it and works with each customer to deliver at an hour or time of day that is convenient for them.  He is quite flexible about delivery hours. 

Wayne's prices include free delivery to anyone living in the Fairbanks North Star Borough (FNSB).  He will deliver to areas within a seventy-five mile radius of the FNSB for a delivery fee that is based upon exactly where he would be delivering.  Anyone interested in buying his firewood and having it delivered outside of the FNSB will need to e-mail or call Wayne to discuss a reasonable, fair delivery rate.
